HWAY KA LOKE BOARDING HOUSE
WWM was proud to support the boarding house for CDTC up until March 2019.
WWM became involved with HKL in 2008 soon after Cyclone Nargis, initially supporting reconstruction of dormitories destroyed by strong winds crossing into Thailand, along with delivery of clothing and small food items.
Since 2010, WWM has been able to offer support to HKL for daily meals, sanitation and hygiene items, land rent and building maintenance. A block dormitory for 60 boys was completed in August 2011 with the support of a private donor.
Nutritious meals, health assistance, a roof over their heads, mosquito nets, clean drinking water, access to education and support from new friends are just a few of the advantages to living at Hway Ka Loke Boarding House.
